Announcement: John Walston’s Debut Book is Here!
We are excited to share that John Walston has just published his first book, “Keep On Moving: How to move through anxiety and embrace the struggle.”
In this deeply personal book, John explores the connection between physical movement and mental wellness. John draws from his experiences and explores the themes that will assist the reader in overcoming anxiety. The book emphasizes that it is ok to not be ok and encourages honesty and accountability as the first step in moving forward.
Each chapter concludes with “forward movement choices” that provide actionable items to promote personal growth. Celebrate with us and grab your copy of “Keep On Moving” today!

Our Impact
Because of supporters like you, we’ve been able to show up for people when they’ve needed it most.
Over the past four years, we’ve sent more than 50 care packages—each one a small but powerful reminder to Keep On Moving. These packages, filled with t-shirts, stickers, and handwritten notes, went to people who felt alone, overwhelmed, or like giving up. Whether they were facing illness, grief, or personal struggle, your support helped remind them they weren’t alone—and that someone out there cares.
You’ve also helped raise over $16,000, every dollar of which has gone straight to organizations and programs making a difference in our community:
- Girls on the Run Capital Region – Providing program equipment and empowering young girls to grow strong and confident
- Albany PAL Baseball & Basketball – Supplying gear and creating safe spaces for local youth
- New York Run for the Fallen – Honoring Gold Star Families with personalized remembrance flags
- Ronald McDonald House of Albany – Offering comfort and care to families during hospital stays
- Equinox Homeless Services – Delivering clothing and essentials to those without stable housing
- South End Children’s Cafe – Feeding local children and providing a safe, supportive space after school
Your donations go directly to work—lifting spirits, meeting urgent needs, and helping people stay strong during their hardest days.
If you believe in the power of community and kindness, please consider making a donation.
You’ll be making a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

Embrace the Struggle
"I have learned that it is okay to not be okay, but you have to keep on moving each day. I encourage you to not let yourself be a victim of your own destructive thoughts."
