CLASSROOM CHALLENGE FOR STUDENTS | ADULT CHALLENGE |
Teachers & Students 30-Day Keep On Moving Challenge
Challenge for students and teachers to commit to at least 15 minutes a day of physical activity for 30 days. That's 450 minutes of physical activity in one month.
Step 1
Download the Student Challenge
- DOWNLOAD the challenge above and print a copy for each student
Step 2
Encourage and Commit
- Provide the students with suggestions of activities and remind them that their time doing activity should be without a screen.
- Encourage the parents to support their children by participating with them.
- Activity suggestions: Walking, running, hiking, biking, jump rope, sit ups, push-ups, stair climb, active sports such as basketball, soccer, tennis, swimming, lacrosse
Step 3
Document progress
- Remind the students that either a parent or teacher needs to sign off on their time and they need to document how they felt (i.e.- happy, angry, tired, energized, focused, etc…) after the activity. All feelings are great!
Step 4
Motivation
- Encourage and motivate the students
- Set a schedule for the activity so it becomes a habit
- Encourage them to get excited for how they feel when they are active
Step 5
Day 30
- Celebrate that they set a goal and met the challenge with success
- Encourage them to meet the challenge every month!
- Submit a copy of the tracking sheet to one of the following:
- Scan and email to fun@keeponmovement.org
- Mail sheets to the following:
- Keep on Movement, Inc., PO Box 143, Delmar, NY 12054

Commit to Keep On Moving and never stop
- Repeat the challenge each month
Adult 30-Day Keep On Moving Challenge
Challenge for adults to commit to at least 20 minutes a day of physical activity for 30 days. That's 600 minutes of physical activity for 30 days.
Step 1

Step 2
Encourage and Commit
- Commit to invest in yourself
- Encourage a friend or family member to join you. Exercise is always fun as a group.
- Activity suggestions: Walking, running, hiking, biking, jump rope, sit ups, push-ups, stair climb, active sports such as basketball, soccer, tennis, swimming
Step 3
Document progress
- Track your efforts each day.
- Seeing you progress and getting excited about each day is essential for success.
Step 4
Motivation
- Encourage and motivate everyone around you.
- Set a schedule for the activity so it becomes a habit
- Encourage them to get excited for how they feel when they are active
- Post on Social Media and #keeponmoving
Step 5
Day 30
- Celebrate yourself and anyone else who completed the challenge with you
- Post on Social Media
- Encourage them to meet the challenge every month!
